Fruit Cocktail Pie Recipe
Serves 8

1 (9 inch) pie shell, baked
1 (15.25 ounce) can fruit cocktail
1 (4.6 ounce) package non-instant vanilla pudding mix
2 cups milk
1 pint heavy cream

Drain fruit cocktail and reserve about  1/2 cup of the fruit cocktail juice. In a saucepan, prepare pudding according to package directions, using 2 cups milk and 1/2 cup reserved juice. Remove from Pour vanilla pudding mix into baked pie crust and let set at room temperature until cooled. Then and a thin layer of fruit cocktail ontop and then place in refrigerator until serving time.
 Just before serving, whip up the heavy cream in the frozen bowl then spoon on top of pie and serve.
